Pull Strings

Her nimble hands pull strings linked to sky dreams,
as if harvesting balloons in a parade
wonderful worlds tied from the sky to her braids
reminiscent of fishing
bobber jounces
her mind yawns like salmon jaws to feed on
worlds seized upon

balanced on the fringes of her consciousness
trembling sublime
a waterfall of worlds pouring into
words

speeches ache to speak of them
letters long to write of them
lyrics dare to sing of them

the unknown ripens into destiny,
plucked from the mystery
darkness freckled with constellations
